Francis Alÿs – The Nightwatch

Image

In 2004, Francis Alÿs released a fox into London’s National Portrait Gallery, allowing the CCTV cameras to track the fox’s movements. I find this a fascinating concept for an art installation, and considering our name-sake, thought this was worth a mention. I’ve not yet had the chance to visit the Tate, if anyone would like to share their reaction to the piece then please, add your comments below!
